Elizabeth Waters is a seasonal Mass Audubon employee working as part of a team restoring 1,450 acres of salt marsh at Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. With a degree in environmental studies from Hamilton College and a professional background in sustainability management and environmental writing, she is pursuing a career in ecological restoration. Elizabeth splits her time between her hometown of Newburyport, Massachusetts, and Avon, Colorado.
