Rourke is a freshman at Colgate University (Class of 2029) who graduated from Newburyport High School in 2025. He has worked closely with a Northeastern college professor on a “Climate Futures” project to promote climate change awareness through educational plaques in and around Newburyport. Rourke believes that as a member of the upcoming generation, it has become a duty to take care of the environment. Through ACES Youth Corps, Rourke has an opportunity to make ongoing contributions toward a healthy environment.
