A native of New York City, Deborah discovered nature late in life and is still somewhat wary of it. However, after forty-eight years of teaching (thirty- eight at Newburyport High School) and twenty-nine years of parenting, she feels some responsibility to provide a healthy planet for future generations. Not surprisingly, she believes that education is the key to preserving what beauty we humans have created. Deborah acts as our editor to help keep written communications concise and accurate.
