Protect Nature

Merrimack River

ACES is especially concerned about the environmental damage done to our natural recources since the advent of industrialization, population growth, and other pollutants.

We focus on the need for collaboration to address issues like clean water, deforestation,

habitat loss and fragmentation, declining pollinator populations, and increasing threats to

ecosystem integrity and environmental sustainability. We currently are supporting creation of a

broad-based, multi-state coalition to raise awareness of the urgency for a healthy Merrimack River.

We support efforts of these participating organizations, commissions, and individuals:

Ipswich River Watershed Association

Merrimack River Watershed Council

Parker River Clean Water Association

Merrimack Valley Planning Commission

Merrimack Conservation Partnership
